Second International Kemp’s Ridley Symposium
In light of the recent apparent downturn in population sizes for Kemp's ridley sea turtles, the Second International Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle Symposium was held this week in Brownsville, Texas ahead of its originally scheduled 2015 ; 2015 would mark the 30th anniversary of the the first Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle ; But with population downturns and drastic funding slashes, organizers felt it was important to hold the meeting earlier than ; TMTR was there and presented one talk and one poster about our ; A great time was had - as well as some important ; A lot was accomplished in a very short time period and we are very thankful to all who organized the ; Plus, the food was outstanding!
